About Inburgeringsexamen.nl
I am Timo. I made this site because good practice material for the civic integration exam was hard to find. Here it is free.
Why this site exists
I am Dutch. I never had to take the civic integration exam myself. My Iranian family did. I helped them at the kitchen table for many evenings.
The first thing we looked for was practice material. That was disappointing. Many exercises did not look like the exam. Others did not explain why an answer was right.
So we made our own tasks. The same kind of texts. The same kind of questions. That gave them a clear picture of the exam. Only then did practising really help.
That work grew into Inburgeringscursus.nl. It now holds a lot of practice material. I put part of it here for free. Everyone should be able to see what the exam looks like. Even if you do not want a course.

Free, no account
Here you read and practise without an account. You pay nothing. Want to keep practising with a set plan afterwards? You can do that at Inburgeringscursus.nl. You do not have to.
Not a website of DUO or the government
We do not hold exams. We cannot see your result. We cannot book an exam for you either.
To book, see your result or ask about your own situation, go to inburgeren.nl or DUO.
How our practice material works
Like the exam
The tasks come from the Inburgeringscursus.nl app. They have the same format as the exam. We never publish real exam questions.
See why, right away
After each question you see what is right. You also read why. That way you learn from a mistake.
Automatic checking
A writing task is checked by the Inburgeringscursus.nl AI. We do not keep your text. The AI can make mistakes. So it is not an exam result.
Facts with a source
We take rules and prices from DUO, inburgeren.nl and the government. With figures from research, you see how many people were counted.
What you can expect from us
- We do not say the exam is easy. For many people it is not.
- We do not promise that you will pass. Nobody can promise that.
- We do not scare you into buying something.
- Is something wrong? Then we fix it.
