Under the 2013 law you take the language exams at A2 level or higher. Under the 2021 law you take the language exams at B1 level on the B1-route. If you cannot reach B1, you may sometimes switch to A2 on the B1-route. That is only possible after at least 600 hours of lessons at an accredited language school.
You take each part separately, so you can start with the part you find hardest. Each part costs €50.
On the B1-route? Go to B1 inburgering practice exam.
